During this conference, we will provide a session on strategic management of agile teams from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm. In the session “Best practices for the strategic management of agile teams within local and national government”, Sander explains more about agile working, strategy and portfolio management.
Agile working, both with our own and external teams, is on the rise in municipalities and water boards, but also at the national government. However, the dynamic nature of agile working regularly conflicts with the more systematic nature of portfolio management in government organizations. As a result, agile initiatives are not always included in portfolio management and the strategic contribution is often unclear.
During this presentation, concrete practical cases will be used to explain how you can bring strategic portfolio management and agile execution closer together while maintaining the agile momentum. It is also demonstrated how you can easily manage waterfall projects and agile teams from one portfolio with the software of Fortes Change Cloud.
